The overall condition of the dogtag is good. The number 210383 tell us the soldier served in the Regimentsstab Fallschrimjager Regiment 10. This unit was formed in November 1944 in Italy between the areas of Perugia and Terni. Parts of the regiment consisted out of the remains of the Italian divisions "Demgo" and "Folgore", who wanted to continue fighting on the fascist side even after the Italian surrender. As part of the division it fought fiercely in areas like Anzio,Nettuno,Rome, Firenz,Sienna,Rimini,Bologna,Ferrara, Verona and Bozen.
The dog tag is made form Edelstahl. The 'B' stands for the bloodtype of the soldier.
