Very nice pre war German propaganda film/clip of the famout WW1 U9 U-boat.

The film comes in a Siemens marked transport container. Its about Kapitän Otto Weddigen and his U9 submarine from the Kaiserliche Deutsche Marine. It served from 1914 till 1916 on the see against the British Navy and from 1916 on it was used for training purposes.
The U9 ws one of the only 2 ships which got awarded the Iron Cross by Kaiser WIllem II. Otto Weddigen was awarded the Pour le Mérite for sinkinhg 4 ships.
