Very nice and rare Wehrmacht 'Windbluse 41' in very good condition.
The Windbluse 41 was intended for wearing over a uniform. It shows overall normal signs of wear. It has no damage and all the buttons are present. It still has it's white drawstrings on the upper chest, the white waist drawstring (on the inside), all of it's buttons and the 2 friction buckles to seal the cloth around the wrists. It's missings it's black 'erkennungsbänder' on the arms, but this was a common practice to improve camouflage.
The windbluse is size marked, maker marked 'Kleiderfabrik Markt-Schwaben' and 'M41 (Munich 1941)' marked on the inside of the hood.
It's also marked 'A.R.3 (Artillerie Regiment 3?)'.
This Windbluse is published in the book ‘The German Army, Mountain Soldier of World War II’ (Juli 2009), by 'W.Krawczyk & B.Jansen', page 92-93.
Very nice and hard to find piece.
