The overall condition of the wristwatch is very good. The watch is in working order and holds the time pretty well. Winding it full up and it runs over 24hrs! (in time, he deviates slightly) It's marked on the back with 'D 4644515', or 'Dienstuhr', serial code: '4644515''. Watches only marked with a 'D' and not the 'H' behind the number were Luftwaffe ground forces (Flak) issued ones. Comes with a replaced wristband, but these perlon ones where also worn during the war.
What makes this DOXA watch rare, is that there was a very short period of time that they used a batch of dails without the name brand DOXA on it. So just a black dail. This is the only one for sale and not only for a militaria collector, but also for a vintage watch collector a musthave!
