Almost all of the binoculars original colour is still present. Both lenses are in working order. That means you can focus them. The visibility is clear. The right side is marked with 'Dienstglas', '6x30', the serial number '301108' and the code 'H/6400' (which means it has a strichtplatte). The left side is marked with the maker initials 'dow' which means the maker is 'Optikotechna' from (former) 'Czechoslovakia'. This company was forced to make optics for the German forces when they invaded the country. The company is now called 'Meopta' and is still producing optics.
The set comes with it's leather carrying strap and leather button flap or 'tragelasche' which are both marked by the same maker 'dow' and dated '1941', meaning the set was never taken apart! Both pieces are also stamped 'WaA'. All accessories, like the dienstglas, are in used but excellent condition.
All in all, a beautiful matching set, which is very rarely offered for sale in this complete condition.
