The tureen is in used but good condition. It shows normal signs of user scratches/wear.It has small production hairline cracks at the bottom, which is not unusual and does not affect functionality, the piece is solid! Nicely marked on the bottom with the Kriegsmarine acceptance stamp, the maker 'KPM' and date of production '1942'. The green lined decoration means that it was used by senior crewmen ('für Bootsmänner'). It's approx. 11cm high and the diameter (from handle to handle) is approx. 28,5cm.
Rare and hard to find piece.
