The medal has a beautiful dark patina. Complete with pin and catch at the back. We think the catch has been period replaced (very nicely done!). The medal is nicely marked 'JFS' on the back, meaning it was made by 'Josef-felix & Söhne' of 'Gablonz'. The hollow version of the IAB was probably the latest variant produced by this manufacturer.
Extremely hard to find.
