Nice and hard to find First Pattern Tropical Tunic or 'Modell 40 Tropische Feldbluse'.
The tunic is in very good condition and shows only minor signs of wear. The exterior is complete with (reapplied) original insignia, all the correct buttons and 1 set of medal loops on the left breast pocket.
The tunic has a very nice Afrikakorps cuff title and BeVo Edelweiss sleeve patch on the right arm which portrays the uniform belonged to a soldier serving in Africa with the Gebirgsjägers.
On the inside, the lining is intact. It is complete with all the correct buttons and the pocket for the small bandage pack on the right inside is also present. The tunic is marked, but a little faintly readable due to wear.
This Feldbluse is published in the book ‘The German Army, Mountain Soldier of World War II’ (Juli 2009), by 'W.Krawczyk & B.Jansen', page 19, 36-37 (see the last 2 photos)
See the last pictures for the sizes in centimeters.
Very hard to find model!
