Both the scabard as the bayonet are marked by the maker 'Elite-Diamant'. The set is not number matching. The bayonet is marked with the number '7521' and dated '1939'. The scabbard is marked with the number '6699' and dated '1940'. The blade is in good condition, not sharpened and still contains 75% all of its blueing. The scabbard is also in good condition (reblued at one point ). The bakelite grips are in used but good and solid condition. The set has multiple WaA markings (see the photos).
This is by far the most difficult and sought-after k98 bayonet maker on the market and is missing from most collections.
