The box/crate shows overall normal signs of wear. It's solid and is complete with the intact rope handles on each side. Pretty clear text on the lid 'Patr. 7,5cm Pak 97/38' and 'Patr. 7,5cm Pak 97/40'. This anti-tank canon was a combination of the barrel of the French Canon de 75 modele 1897 fitted with a Swiss muzzlebreak mounted on the carriage of the Wehrmacht Pak 5cm.
On the inside remants of a label are still present. One side of the crate is marked with a 3-letter code 'GJX1944' and a WaA marking.
Items related to this canon are not easy to come by.
