The box shows overall normal signs of use. It's solid and comes with the handles, side- and front locks. It's marked on multiple sides with 'L.u.S.Mun, 500 Patr. Hülsenlg. 83mm'.
This transport box contained a total of 500 cartridges for a flare gun and had a total weight of approx. 63 kg when filled! It is nicely executed in tan color, which means it was most most likely used in tropical/southern theaters of the war. The large label on the inside is partially present.
