This beautiful (slightly shortened) Panzerjäger Officers Feldbluse began its life as an enlisted (rank) tunic and has been altered/taillored to reflect its officer status and to meet all the requirements specified by the owner.
The enlisted eagle has been replaced for an officer's bullion eagle, as have the collar tabs. The collar has also been carefully period upgraded by a tailor to a dark green example. Changing the color of an M41 Feldbluse was done more often, to give the uniform a luxurious apperance and make it look like an M36 model.
The tunic comes with a set of 'Panzerjäger-Abteilung 25' leutnant should-boards (hence the gilt-washed 'P25' letter and numerals on the shoulder-straps).
Besides the insignia, all buttons are present (some have been replaced) and the felbluse has multiple loops for medals and ribbons on and above the breast pockets (see photos).
The inside is also in very good condition. The pouch for the bandage packages (on the right inside) is present as are all the buttons.
The tunic is size marked, depot marked 'H', dated '41' (1941) and maker marked.
Overall an beautiful tunic and a not so easy to find model (especially in this condition).
