Very nice Panzerjäger related Wehrpass grouping in very good condition.
All the documents of the grouping show overall normal signs of wear. They belonged to Heinrich Theodor Gossen. Heinrich started, as so many, as a member of the Reichsarbeitsdienst in April 1938. In November 1938 Heinrich became a soldier within the 3.Kompanie Panzer Abwehr Abteilung 34. This unit was formed in October 1937 in Wittlich. In 1940 the abteilung was renamed into Panzer Jäger Abteilung 34. It was part of the Divisionseinheiten der 34.Infanterie-Division and was put into action during the invasion of France and later Russia (see the 'Gefechtskalender' on page 33/34 and 47).
Heinrich was involved in a car accident on the 14th of May 1941 while stationed in France. He broke some ribs and a shoulderblade. He spend some within within the 2.Kompanie Panzer Jäger Ersatz Abteilung 33 (probably to recover) and joined his old unit again from mid September 1941 until he was wounded again on the 14th of January 1942. He got wounded on his lower right arm. From then on Heinrich served in the Genesendenkompanie Panzer Jäger Ersatz und Ausbildungs Abteilung 33 and later the Stammkompanie Panzer Jäger Ersatz und Ausbildungs Abteilung 33, probably beause he wasn't fit anymore to fight on the front and so he would give training to recruits.
Heinrich was promoted 5 times until the rank of Fahnenjunker. He was skooled to operate at least the Pak 3,7cm, K98 and P08. He earned the Eisernes Kreuz 2.Klasse, Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz & Silber, Ostmedaille.
