Very nice Gebirgstruppen (Jäger/Gebirgsjäger) Visor Cap or 'Schirmmütze' complete with insignia.

The overall condition of the schirmmütze is used but good. It has a lovely saddle shape. The fabric shows normal signs of wear and a couple of moth bites, but nothing major.
The visor cap is complete with its officers chin strap, wehrmacht eagle, wreath, cockade and Edelweiss. The insignia was probably replaced at some point.
The leather sweatband on the inside is present, flexible and foldable. it's maker marked, most likely unit marked (both not readable anymore due to wear) and dated '1939'. Excellent cap from a desirable branch.
The size of the schirmmütze is approx. 54/55.
