The overall condition of the schirmmütze is excellent. It has a lovely saddle shape. The fabric shows normal signs of wear and a couple of tiny moth bites, but nothing major.
The visor cap is complete with its officers chin strap, wehrmacht eagle, wreath and cockade. It also has a nice visor cap Edelweiss, which has been added at some point (as was often the case: to make room for the edelweiss, the bird was raised a bit).
The high quality leather sweatband on the inside is present and marked 'Sixtus'. The sweat diamond is also present, intact and maker marked by 'August Müller' from 'München'
Excellent cap from a desirable branch in very good condition.
