The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the N.S.K.K.-Brigade 1 der Luftwaffe. This Brigade was formed in the summer of 1941 in France and consisted out of 3 regiments. Within this Brigade an estimate of 9000 Dutch volunteers served.
