The abzeichen is marked on the back with 'RZM' and 'M1/172' which means the producer was 'Walter & Henlein' from 'Gablonz am N.'.
Most of this maker's abzeichen were found (unfinished, i.e. without pins) in dump holes. This was also the case with this one, hence the pitting on the back and the replaced pin (nicely done!).
