Very nice and large U.S. press photo of an unit of the Ninth U.S. Army heading to the German village of Linnich.
The photograph shows overall normal signs of storage wear. It's complete with paper caption on the back. Infantery men and a Sherman tank are advancing through a vegetable field near the Siegfried Line in the area of the Beeck village.
The photograph was probably taken in late November 1944 since it was developed on the 2nd of December 1944.
