The dog tag shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to August Smeilus who served at the Marinestation Nordsee. He enlisted in 1941. The 'E’ means 'Ergänzungsausbildung Marineartillerie'.
What makes this tag interesting is that the soldier carved in 'Gefangenen = N o A693611' on the back.
