The overall condition of this Schirmmütze is used but good. It has a lovely saddle shape. The visor cap has some mothing, but this is not really annoying to the eye.
The cap is complete with its officers chin strap, wehrmacht eagle, wreath and the desirable vented cockade. It also has a nice visor cap Edelweiss, which has been added at some point (to make room for the edelweiss they raised the bird a bit). The inside has an awesome used patina. The visors valve clearly shows ‘thumb wear’ from putting the cap on and taking it off. The leather sweatband is present and marked: 'Erel, Stirnschutz, D.R.G.M./D.R.P. Angem'. The sweat diamond is also present, and you can see the manufacturer's logo and markings: 'eReL Sonderklasse Extra', from 'Berlin' and the marking 'Ges.Gesch.'
