The mess tin or 'Kochgeschirr' shows overall normal signs of wear. It still contains over 90% of its original color. Both top and bottom part are marked by the same maker 'HWSD37' which indicates it was prodcued by 'H.W. Schmidt' from Döbeln in 1937.
