Almost all of the binoculars original colour is still present. Both lenses are in working order, which means you can focus them. The visibility of the left lense is a little foggy/speckled, but definitely still good. The visibility of the right lense is very clear and the strichtplatte is present (please see the last photos for the visibility). The right side is marked with 'Dienstglas', '6x30', the serial number '342929', the code 'H/6400' (which means it has a strichtplatte) and the 'M' (Metrics). The left side is marked by the maker 'Hensoldt' from 'Wetzlar'. The Dienstglas has two beautiful, deeply marked and early 'WaA' stamps on the lower bridge. One small screw is missing on the front of the dienstglas, which fortunately does not affect functionality
The set comes with it's early brown leather carrying strap, leather lens cover and leather button flap or 'tragelasche'. Both the lens cover and the 'tragelasche' are also maker marked by 'Hensoldt' from 'Wetzlar', 'WaA' stamped and dated '1938', meaning the set was never taken apart! All accessories are in used but excellent condition.
All in all, a beautiful set, which is very rarely offered for sale in this matching condition.
