The Erkennungsmarke shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served/was drafted in Marschkompanie Gebirgs Kraftfahr Ersatz Abteilung 18. This unit was formed in April 1938 in Bregenz (Austria) from 2 Austrian Kraftfahr units. In August 1939 the Abteilung was disbanned and used to form Kraftfahr Ersatz Abteilung 18.
Nice tag of a Gebirgsjäger related unit that is not that common to find.
Nicely marked on the back with 'Blutgruppe O' on both parts.
