The canteen shows overall normal signs of wear. The leather straps are supple and solid. The felt cover has no damages whatsoever and all 4 push buttons are in working order. It's marked 'CFL44'. The bottle is an red painted steel version which is marked 'CFL43'. The leather strap that is connected to the black bakelite screw lid is also marked 'CFL44'. The canteen comes with a black bakelite 1944 dated cup.
