Both booklets shows overall signs of use. They are solid and complete with all pages. Both booklets are printed in 1939. Part 1, or Teil I, has 96 pages and contains 26 photographs/illustrations. Teil II has 113 pages and contains 51 photographs. The full title is 'Description, handling and operation of the MG34 as a light machine gun, heavy machine gun and in air defense'.

Both booklets are marked with an inkstamp the reads 2.schwadron Schützen Regiment 7. This regiment was part of the 7.Panzer-Division.
Soldiers of a Schützen Regiment are the ones you often see in the Sd.Kfz's (halftracks) and are part of a Panzer Regiment/Division.

These are not easy to find as a set.
