The overall condition of the schirmmütze is used but good. It has a lovely worn shape. The fabric shows normal signs of wear and a couple of tiny moth holes (at the back) and two small repairs (nicely done!), but nothing major or annoying to the eye. The visor cap comes with its officer's chin strap, and a nice silver and black bullion insignia set (cap eagle, wreath and cockade).
The leather sweatband is present and in good condition, as is the sweat diamond. The cap is nicely marked 'Verkaufs-Abteilung der Luftwaffe, Berlin' and maker marked by 'Carl Halfar (Ce-Ha, Prima)'
The size of the schirmmütze is approx. 54/55.
