Very nice Luftwaffe 4-Pocket Dress tunic or Luftwaffe Flak 'Viertaschenrock' in excellent condition.

The Dress tunic shows only minor signs of wear/ageing and is in very good condition. Has 2 small moth bites (in the armpit) and some small spots were the nap of the wool (due to wear) is missing, but this is barely perceptible to the eye. Its complete with a (hand applied) breast eagle, Sewn-in Shoulder-Straps, period machine applied collar tabs and all of it's buttons. On the inside the lining is intact. The Viertaschenrock is maker marked by 'Ankenbrand u.Klaue', size marked, depot marked 'L.B.A.39' (Luftwaffe Bekleidungsamt 1939) and marked 'FLak Wei', which stands for Weimar-Nohra (Nohra is a village and former municipality in the Weimarer Land district of Thuringia). The uniform also has a nice paper label which is still attached to the uniform.
The shoulder straps indicate that the tunic belonged to a soldier of 'Luftwaffe Leichte Flak-Abteilung 86' (hence the Bright-red, chain-stitched, embroidered '86' and Bright-Red ('Hochrot') waffenfarben piping on the edges.
Overall a beautifull Luftwaffe 4-pocket dress tunic.
