The overal condition is used but very good. Its approx. 46cms in length en 3,5cm wide. The letters are hand-embroidered and made from silver bullion thread, showing the word 'Geschwader Boelcke'.
'Geschwader Boelcke' (or 'Kampfgeschwader 27 Boelcke') was a medium bomber wing that saw action throughout the war. It participated in the invasion of Poland, Belgium, France and fought during the Battle of Britain and the invasion of Russia (Operation Barbarosa). It also defended the Third Reich at the end of the war.
Overall a very nice officers cufftitle from a famous and sought-after unit.
