Very nice pre war (1938) Luftwaffe Flak visor cap in used, but very good condition.
The schirmmütze shows overall normal signs of wear. It has a lovely shape. It shows normal signs of wear. Couple of moth holes (see the photos). It comes with it's chin strap and alluminium insignia.
The inside is is complete with it's sweat diamond. The Lining is marked by maker 'Clemens Wagner' from Braunschweig, size marked '59' and dated 'okt. 1938'. The leather sweatband is also present. It's marked 'Deutsche Leder' and has 2 unit markings on the inside. The first unit marking 'Aufkl.Gr.18' or Aufklärungs Gruppe 18 which is crossed out. The second unit marking 'F.L.H. K.d.t.r. Bad Vöslau' stands for 'Fliegerhorst-Kommandantur Bad Vöslau'.
Aufklärungs Gruppe 18 was formed on the 1st of the August 1938 in Köttingbrunn and was renamed/used into Aufklärungs Gruppe 14. This unit was stationed, for a short time, in Bad Voslau.
