The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the Luftnachrichten Kompanie Motorisiert Fliegerhafen-Bereich Kommando Stargard. This was the communication unit of the HQ of the Fliegerhafen Stargard which lays in nowadays Poland.
This airfield was the base for units such as the Aufklärungsgruppe 21, Blindflugschule 2 & 5.
