Nice Croatian award document for the Silbernen Tapferkeits-Medaille in very good condition.
The document shows overall normal signs of use. It was awarded to Kurt Wagener who was a SS-Sturmann und Vorgeschobener Beobachter. The Feldpostnummer 47140 tells us that Kurt served in the Regimentsstab und Einheit SS-Gebirgs-Artillerie-Regiment 7 'Prinz Eugen'.
The medal was awarded on the 30th of January 1944.
The following actions made him earn the medal; Wagner was deployed as VB with the infantry in almost all operations. With his cold-blooded approach, he directed the artillery fire and was thus able to support the infantry well. He particularly distinguished himself in action at Grabovac and at Height 909.
