The set shows overall normal signs of wear. They were awarded to Mechaniker-Obergefreiten Erhard Schwechheimer who served on the Zerstörers Z28. This was a destroyer and in the beginning of the war operated in Denmark and late Norway. It escorted the Admiral Scheer to Narvik. And later escorted also the Admiral Tipper and the Tirpitz. The Z28 was attacked by air on the 6th ofMarch 1945 and was sunk.
The set consist out of;
- das Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen issued on the 27th of November 1942.
- Eisernes Kreuz 2.Klasse issued on the 27th of April 1944. Signed by Konteradmiral Leo Kreisch.
