The clip used to contain four '4cm Bofors Flak 28 shell casings'. It is nicely 3-letter code 'jhv' marked by the maker, stamped 'WaA' and dated '1942'.
The '4cm Bofors Flak 28' was used by both the Kriegsmarine (Ships/Coastel Batteries) and the Wehrmacht.
