Very nice Wehrmacht Kraftwagen Transport plaque in used, but very good condition.

The plaque shows overall normal signs of wear. It has an overall nice patina. It's related to Kraftwagen Transport Regiment 616 which was formed in late August 1939 and part of the 12.Armee. In 1940 it was part of the 6.Armee which participated in the invasion of France. Later that same year the regiment was part of the 2.Armee which operated in the Balkans. In 1941 it fell under the command of the 1.Panzerarmee which operated on the eastern front.
The plaque measures approx. 11cms*7,5cms.
