The bayonet is in used condition. Both the bayonet as the scabbard are marked with the number ‘2908' (It seems they 'misstamped' it, hence the double numbers, but we are not sure what happend here) on on side. On the other side, both pieces are stamped with '44asw' which means the bayonet is made by 'E. & F. Horster & Co.' from 'Solingen' in '1944'. The blade has been sharpenend at one point. The bakelite grips are riveted instead of screwed which is very rare to encounter.
