Very nice zinc Infanterie Geschutz Ersatz Kompanie 529 tag in used, but excellent condition.
The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows signs of wear. The Infanteriegeschütz Ersatz Kompanie 529 was stationed in Butzbach and part of Grenadier Ersatz Regiment 529.
The 'Bl.O' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
Every Infanterie regiment had a Geschütz Kompanie. This was the 13.Kompanie. This kompanie was equipped with 2x 7,5cm leichtes I.G.18L and 2x 15cm schweres I.G. 33L.
