Very nice 3-piece award document grouping in used, but very good condition.

Details

All 3 documents show overall signs of wear, but all are solid. They were awarded to Hauptmann Georg Modes. Georg served in the II.Bataillon Infanterie Regiment 734 in the year 1942. This regiment was formed in April 1941 as an occupation force in Serbia. It was part of the 704.Infanterie-Division. Georg switched to the Stab Landesschutzen Bataillon 562 somewhere in the year 1943. This unit also served in Serbia.
The grouping consist out of;

Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2.Klasse mit Schwertern award document issued on the 18th of November 1940.
Spange zum Eisernen Kreuz 2.Klasse award document issued on the 25th of August 1942. Signed by Generalmajor und Kommandeur der 704.Inf.-Div. Heinrich Borowski. Harder to find award document!
Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1.Klasse mit Schwertern award document issued on the 20th of April 1943 and signed by Oberst Hartwig von Ludwiger.
