The document shows overall normal signs of wear. It was awarded to Gefreiter Rowlin for achieving the 2nd place in high jumping. Rowlin served in Regiment Graf Stolberg which is Infanterie Regiment 159. This regiment was formed in August 1939 in Lüdenscheid and was part of the 69.infanterie-Division. It saw its first combat during the invasion of Norway in April 1940.
The document was issued on the 17th of August 1941 in Haugesund, Norway and is signed by Oberst Chistroph Graf zu Stolberg.
