Beautiful Pre war (1936!) Officers Infanterie Visor Cap or 'Schirmmütze'.

Details

The overall condition of the Schirmmütze is used but good. It has a lovely shape. The fabric on the outside has some minor repairs, but is in good condition. It comes with the officers chin strap and the Wehrmacht (aluminium) eagle, wreath and cockade. The leather sweatband on the inside is completely present and in used but good and solid condition. Its double marked and dated '1936'. The sweatdiamand is also presents. The Schirmmutze is size marked '56' and marked by the 'Bavaria-Filmkunst', which means it was used after the war in movies and/or theatres (this is common).

Visor caps dated this early, are not easy to find!
