Very nice Luftwaffe issued bread bag in used, but excellent condition.

The bag shows overall normal signs of wear. It's complete with all (supple) leather straps/parts and all buttons. Maker marked, but a bit faded and also unit marked 'II/Flak Rgt.22' which stands for II.Abteilung Flak Regiment 22. This II.Abteilung was formed in April 1935. It saw its first combat during the invasion of Poland that took place in September 1939. After that it moved to the west. It particitpated in the invasion of France and stayed in France nearly the entire war. It operated in the areas of Rennes, Le Mans, Bordeaux and Amiens.
In the winter of 1944/45 it was part of the III.Flakkorps and operated in the Eiffel area.
