Very nice Luftwaffe Flak related tag in used, but very good condition.
The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the I.Abteilung schwere Flak Regiment (mot.gl.) 29. The I.Abteilung of this regiment was formed in October 1937. In May 1940 it participated in the invasion of France as part of the XXVII. Armeekorps. In June 1941 it took part in the invasion of Russia as part of the 3.Panzer-Division. It fought in areas lik Rshew and Smolensk. In the last stages of the was it was part of the 18.Flak-Division and operated in Gumbinnen, Königsberg, Heiligenberg and Samland.
The '(motgl.)" on the tag stands for 'motorisiert geländegängig/Gleiskette' which means the flak canon was mounted on a tracked (armoured) vehicle.
The "O' on the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
