Very nice brown leather map case with German map both in used, but good condition.

Details

The map case shows overall normal signs of wear. The leather is supplie and all the straps are present. No damages whatsoever. The map case is maker marked but too vaque to see. The dated is still visible and reads 1936. It's also unit marked Heeres Flak Abteilung (mot) 291 and the Feldpostnummer 08899B wich corresponds with the 1.batterie Heeres Flakartillerie Abteilung 291. The map case also has a '3./K.R.3' which stands for '3.schwadron Kavallerie Regiment 3. Maybe the soldier switched units?
It comes with a large map that shows the parts of France, Belgium (Ardennes) and Germany. The map is also marked with the same unit marking and named to a Kanonier. In early 1945 the abteilung operated in the Netherlands as part of the 25.Armee.
