Details

This very carefully tailored feldbluse is in excellent condition. All the insignia is present although the collars tabs as the eagle have been reapplied at some point. All buttons are present (one is not showing). It comes with two silver wire embroidered collar tabs, a silver bullion officers breast eagle, a set of shoulder-boards with the rank of an Heer Captain or 'Hauptmann' and a nice added green collar to give the uniform a luxurious look and 'Modell 36' appearance (which was common fashion at the time).

The tunic probably belonged to a Deutsches Kreuz in Gold recipient as it has (in our opinion) a set of period! applied medal loops on the right breast pocket. It also has 2 sets of medal loops on the left breast pocket and a set of loops (probably added later) for a ribbon bar/ Nahkampfspange.

The inside is only in slightly used condition. It's made out of high quality material, comes with a white inner collar or 'kragebinde' which is maker marked, unit marked '2 Armee' and dated '1938'.

Overall, a beautiful, lightly worn officer's uniform.
