The plate It is in good condition, has no damage and has 2 openings on the back with which it can be hung on the wall.  The plate is nicely marked 'Haus Wachenfeld (Obersalzberg)' on the back and the maker is 'Rosenthal' from 'Selb-Bavaria'. The piece can be dated around '1930' and the diameter is about 21.5 cm.

'Haus Wachenfeld' was built in 1916 for a banker named Winter (his wife's maiden name was Wachenfeld). Hitler first rented this house and later (June 1933) bought it after his election as Reichskanzler. He twice commissioned architect Alois Degano to remodel it. The first time after he bought it and the second time in 1936 resulting in the name 'Berghof'.

Whenever possible, Hitler stayed at the Berghof.  The Berghof was also regularly the scene of military and diplomatic conferences. Most of us are familiar with the colour documentaries from the 1930s showing Hitler's later wife Eva Braun in particular.

Awesome plate which would look awesome in any collection room.
