Very nice and hard to find Period Wehrmacht Pickaxe or 'Aschenbrenner Führerpickel' which where widely used by the Gebirgsjägers.

The overall condition is used but very good. The wooden handle is solid and the strap is present, still supple and attached to the pickaxe. The blade is nicely marked 'Aschenbrenner Führerpickel', marked 'Ges.Gesch' and maker marked 'Stubai'.
Very nice addition for a gebirgsjäger display.
