The overall condition of this tailor made field cap is used but very good. It's shows normal signs of wear. It ones had an officers cord on the top off the crown (hence the inward stitching of the seam and the sweatband on the inside).
It's made out of feldgrau wool and the outside is complete with it's buttons and (replaced) Bevo Trapezoid Eagle. It has a nice Edelweiss with a green backing on the left side which has been period applied. It sits very tide on the cap, the wear matches the condition and the 'ghost' underneath it, is visible. The tip of 1 leaf has broken off unfortunately.
On the inside it's complete with it's partial sweatband. The Mütze is not visible marked (most likely worn off). The size is approx: 55.
