A real 'been there' Summer Field Blouse or 'Sommer Feldbluse' for an Gebirgsjäger Oberst in well worn condition.
The tunic definitely shows signs of wear and discolouration. Unfortunately, a moth found the collar very tasty. It has some holes, but can be repaired in the right hands.
The tunic was made from captured enemy zeltbahn. It is complete with all buttons and all insignia (which were applied by hand). The breast pockets can be closed with 2 additional snaps. The tunic has loops for medals on the left breast pocket and loops for a ribbon above the left breast pocket. It also has 3 additional buttons under the collar for attaching a high award (probably a Finish award).
The shoulder boards indicate that the tunic belonged to an 'Oberts' in the 'Gebirgsjager Regiment 139'. Gebirgsjager Regiment 139 was established in August 1938 and was part of the 3.Gebirgs-Division.
