The card shows overall normal signs of wear. According the notice Josef died on the 5th June 1940 in the Pont St.Mard area in France. Josef was drafted in the Gebirgsjäger Ersatz Bataillon 100 and then served in the 7.Kompanie Gebirgsjäger Regiment 100.
