The postcard shows normal signs of wear. Clear shot of a soldier wearing his uniform and bergmütze. The number on his shoulder straps tells us he probably served in Gebirgs-Pionier-Bataillon 54. On the back is some handwritten information that says that he died on the 5th of October 1939 in an Army fieldhospital in Polen. He was buried on the 7th of October on the war cemetery Ulica, Poland.
