The photograph shows overall normal signs of storage wear, mainly on the corners. The friendly looking Obergefreiter is wearing his field tunic. A medal ribbon bar is pinned on above his left breastpocket as is a silver grade Infanterie Sturmabzeichen. The ribbons of the EKII and Ostmedaille are attached on the second button hole of his tunic.
